My drive toward the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women movement comes from a deep sense of responsibility to protect, advocate for, and stand beside Indigenous families during some of the most painful moments of their lives. I believe every missing person deserves urgency, dignity, and a voice, regardless of how overlooked their case may seem to others. My passion is rooted in creating stronger connections between families, communities, and law enforcement so that communication, transparency, and accountability are never lacking. Through MMIW-Chahta, I want to help build a support system where families feel heard, informed, and empowered throughout the search process. I am especially driven to advocate for vulnerable individuals, including runaways, trafficking victims, and Indigenous youth who are at higher risk of falling through the cracks. I approach this work with compassion, determination, and the belief that trust and cooperation can save lives and bring answers to families searching for loved ones. My goal is not only to assist in active cases, but also to raise awareness and encourage communities to take the MMIW crisis seriously. I value professionalism, emotional intelligence, and calm communication, especially when working alongside law enforcement agencies and families under stress. This mission is deeply personal to me because I believe every person deserves to be searched for, fought for, and remembered.
